I now go to Lithuania frequently. It’s fortunate that Lithuania became free. I was able to meet up with my mother. When I left I thought, and she thought, that we would never see each other again but we did see each other. We did see each other and more than once. I was able to support her and I am very happy about that, that right up to my mother’s death, she lived a normal, as it were, trouble-free, stress-free life because I was able to help her. She made a friend of my wife and I believe that the last years of her life were relatively peaceful, relatively pleasant.
