I think this is important - that I never mixed my life with films, that is, it never entered my head, well perhaps in Everything for Sale there is some, an indication of the hardship a film director has, but I think that many directors have had the same hardships and it's not just my exclusive problem that's being shown on the screen there. I tried to avoid mixing my personal life with the screen. But just then I had, so to speak, problems in my personal life, conflicts, separations, divorces and so the genre tale Hunting for Flies seemed to me to be a good topic, where a woman is trying to dominate a man and presents as a sort of praying mantis. But this wasn't a good idea. I don't think the cinema was the best place for this kind of game and for sorting matters out in this way. It was a genre film. Perhaps it was a significant film, perhaps it wasn't, I forgot about it quite quickly but since as I've said there was the opportunity to make films for TV I thought let cinematography remain with its own problems - I'll try to make a film for TV.
