Eventually we notice that... so we go at sea, and by then everyone was throwing up overboard. And then afterwards we try shooting some shots, all that... So then it also enabled us to see something, that when... Fear. Fear and seasickness, if you have something to do you don't get seasick and you don't get scared. And if you have nothing to do, you'll definitely get seasick and you'll definitely get scared. So I became aware of that. So we shot a certain amount of things, but there was no one there. We weren't able to shoot a single scene because everyone was exhausted, I mean the guys were on the floor, Jean-Claude Pascal was... you couldn't touch him, etc. So we came back.

And so since we needed a storm scene, we went back with Pierre, a long time afterwards, when the film was finished, on another boat, on a fishing trip, at a time when the weather wasn't very good thinking maybe we'll have one day of bad weather. We stayed, I don't remember how many, 12 days on the boat, the weather wasn't very good but not bad enough for 11 days, meaning that since we did nothing for 11 days, we threw up for 11 days. And then eventually there was a storm, so we shot quite a lot of storm scenes. And those are the shots that are in Island Fishermen. But at the same time, that film wasn't a very big success.
