Initially, I was working on a film project with Hubert Reeves, the astrophysicist, but nothing came of it. However, he introduced me to Jean Audouze and Michel Cassé who were his students, the only ones he's ever had. And I think that's how it all started, us thinking 'maybe we could see each other'... but... anyway, I am the only literary person who has ever tried.

Au début il y avait eu un projet de film que l’on m’avait proposé avec Hubert Reeves, vous savez, l’astrophysicien, et ce film ne s’est pas fait mais Hubert Reeves m’a présenté Jean Audouzze et Michel Cassé qui étaient ses élèves, les seuls élèves qu’il ait jamais eus. Et je crois que quelque chose est né comme ca, on s’est dit «tiens on pourrait se voir…» mais… En tout cas je suis le seul littéraire qui a tenté l’aventure.
